When we acquired PRN, we saw an opportunity to offer something new. As a former Chief Nurse, I had grown frustrated with the inconsistency in the quality of agency nurses and the inappropriate matches of nurse to patient care unit. There seemed a lack of understanding as to how patient care units functioned.
